What are “Clinical Desktop Procedures”?

These desktop procedures are designed as ‘thumbnail’ introductions to useful, evidence-based treatment strategies. This website is intended to introduce you to selected evidence-based treatments and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques at the click of a button.

Our goal is to introduce a broad range of mental health clinicians to important scientifically validated psychological treatments in order to improve client care in our community.

References and detailed documentation, training and consultation are also available for providers who are interested in obtaining a more detailed and definitive understanding of the procedures.

How to use this Website?

Use this website as a quick reference for developing a better understanding of selected evidence-based treatments or treatment strategies.  This site is not intended to substitute for clinical judgment, clinical supervision, or training.

This information is intended for licensed mental health professionals and other mental health professionals who are under the supervision of a licensed provider.
