Welcome!

Who are we?

The Clemson Animal Welfare Society (CAWS) exists for the Clemson students who are interested in helping promote animal welfare. Our main objectives are to educate the Clemson campus and community about pet overpopulation, the importance of spaying and neutering their pets, adopting animals at animal shelters and proper pet care.

What do we do?

We volunteer at local shelters in the area to help care for and socialize local animals in need. This year CAWS will be more member oriented, focused on activities and goals set during meetings. Our third annual calendar contest for Clemsons Best Pets will be held in the fall. In the spring, we will hold our annual Adopt-A-Thon where we will bring animals from various local adoption organizations to hopefully be adopted on the spot!

Do you love animals?

Do you care about their treatment and care?

Come to a meeting and get involved by becoming a member!
