The Clearwater Chinese School (founded 1990) provides am ongoing once a week community experience for learning Chinese language and culture, plus seeing old friends and making new ones! Chinese School encourages students to learn in a fun way and to adopt intellectual values. It also: Broadens student's cultural horizon, such as communicating with Chinese Chess, Brush Painting and Dance, Builds a diverse student population and provides for broad community participation, and Encourages students to take advantage of other advanced learning programs in public schools, including Chinese classes. We also have four College style classes for older teens and others. Parents are welcome to learn too! Adult Class Schedule (Beginning Aug 22, 2010): I. Marian's Level I Class for adults and older teens...Sundays 10:30am - 12:30 pm. III. Marian's Level III Class for adults...Saturdays 10 am to 12 pm. Please note: Sara will not be teaching level II for adults this semester. If you are still at elementary level please attend Marian's Class on Sunday mornings. Or if you are more advanced, please attend the level III class open Saturday morning.
