Dara: Dara is the main character in the story. She has a long tongue, a stomach pouch, and long white hair. Dara was strong, stubborn, and determined. I love the way she risked her life for her people. When she went to war for her village I knew she would win.
Pilla: Pilla was Dara's best friend. Pilla gave a bandana to Dara. Pilla's personality was brave and courageous. Pilla was also happy and nice and also competitive. Pilla got married to Wren. Pilla was getting married to Wren right when the shriekss were about to attack. After a while Pilla died because Wren died because he sneaked to see her and the shrieks found out and killed him. The reason why Pilla died was because Wren died and Shamra's can't live without love.
Tyler: Tyler is a bauble. She is stubborn and ignorant just like Dara. She likes to give Dara challenges because when she is in trouble she always makes her find a way out on her own. For example, when they were in the swamp and Dara was in trouble, Tyler told her to use her instincts and she did. Tyler made Dara stronger.
Wren: Wren is a brave and intellegent person. Wren has a great and happy personality. Wren is Pilla's best friend. When Wren was almost about to marry Pilla the shrieks came and started to kill Wren and everybody. Pilla died with Wren because Shamra need love to live but she died. When Wren and Pilla died they were blessed for searching an adventure. Wren and Pilla died and helped to bless a lot of people.
Glondel: Glondel is nervous, skillful, and intelligent. Glondel was nervous because he thought the Trocs were going to rule them forever. He was skillful because once he learned the Troc's weakness he made a plan for everyone to follow. Glondel was intelligent because he used spies and other information to defeat the Trocs.
Shrieks: The shrieks where evil, wicked, ugly, and cruel birds. They had beaks, claws, hard black wings with circles on it, and the shrieks had large bodies. They are villans because they attacked the Shamra. The shrieks also endangered their teritory. Another thing is the shrieks were aggressive birds. The shrieks role in the story was to destroy the Shamra village led by the Trocs. The Shrieks pursuded the Shamra village. The shrieks are negative birds and there were a numerous amount of them.
Garz: Garz is a controlling creature, he likes complete control, he is cruel, and sneaky. Garz was controlling the Shamra and the holy men. Garz was cruel because he didn't care about the Shamra. Garz was evil because he didn't care if others died. Garz was sneaky because he did every thing he could to make sure Dara didn't get an army to defeat him. Garz was the only reason the Shrieks attacked the Shamra.
Herber: Herber is intellegent. Herber was in love with Dara but then he fell in love with Pilla's sister Rhea after he tried to poison Dara. Herber is a little scared when the Trocs were going to take over the village. Herber got bitten by a sea surpent and the Rulans helped him get the venom out. Herber also stays with the Rulans. His bauble Renee died. He escaped from the swamps with Dara and then she left him behind. Herber is young. Also he is brave and sometimes scared.
