Clarksville Presbyterian Church was founded 176 years ago.

This year we will be celebrating one hundred years in the current location. The current building has been expanded twice since it was originally constructed.
A new fellowship hall, kitchen, classrooms, and offices were added about ten years ago.  A note-burning ceremony took place about five years after this addition began.
Reverend Eric Myers led this expansion. This space was necessary to help the church in its efforts to better serve the membership and the community.
Reverend Myers later left to obtain his doctorate and now serves a congregation in Maryland. He and his family still come to visit Clarksville twice a year.

Our most recent pastor, Dorothy Finn, served the church for only five years. In December 2008, Reverend Finn was called to heaven after a year facing the challenges of cancer.
During her service, Reverend Finn continued to challenge the membership to strengthen its faith through service to the church and the community.
