This dulcimer has very beautiful curly cherry sides, with lots of character and chayotance. When held up to the light the curls wave and dance when moved. The fine grained spruce top is also nicely finished with a sparkly character. It also has a spectacularly grained one-piece cherry back. This dulcimer belongs to my Spanish pastor's wife, Maria Amaya.
