Friends of Clapham Wood

is a community conservation group. We have adopted a small area of woodland in the north of Norwich, Norfolk.

We aim to keep the wood at its best for the benefit of local people and as a habitat for wildlife.

Clapham Wood is the wooded area between Aylsham Road (opposite St. Luke's Church) and Drayton Road (opposite Wensum Park) in Norwich.

Although small, the wood contains a surprising number of plant and tree species, and is used by all kinds of mammals, birds and insects.

The Friends of Clapham Wood group always welcomes new members  - please email us for event announcements and updates.
