Welcome! I'm glad you found your way to my homepage.
This school year (2011-2012) I am teaching 10th grade College Biology and 11th grade EBI/CPI. This is my 14th year of teaching at Mentor High School. I did my undergrad work at Michigan State, and earned my graduate degree from Kent State. I am certified to teach comprehensive science grades 9-12, with specializations in Biology, Chemistry, and Earth Science.
You can contact me through my school email: langelier@mentorschools.org
I generally respond to emails in 48 hours or less--if you don't hear back from me within 48 hours, please email me again in case the email went AWOL!
Students: At this site you will be able to check the current calendar, print assignments, look for news from me, link to resources, and email me.
Parents: You will be able to check your child's current calendar which has all homework, tests, activities, etc. listed, you can print out any missing assignments that your child left at school, link to resources, or email me.
I live in Mentor with my husband and two wild and crazy cats, Callie and Ramses. We have two sons: Tom is a research engineer with a wind energy company in Boston, and Mike is an architect in Chagrin Falls. When I'm not at school working or at home gardening, there's a good chance you'll find me at the beach--I love the water! If you are curious about the picture I posted above, that was taken in March on the shores of Lake Erie when the ice was just beginning to break up. You can see the frozen lake and the big chunks of dirty ice along the beach behind me. |
