Claddagh Toastmasters helps you to develop your skills in public speaking, planning, training, and managing your time. We aim is to provide a fun and social environment in which to practice your skills.
We are a bilingual Irish-English club, which requires that most members have a good oral command of both Irish and English. However, in practice, this is not really possible, so we are very pleased to welcome English-only speakers. To date, the use of Irish and English is fairly balanced during an evening. For example, the Toastmaster of the evening performs performing his/her role in both Irish and English, and we try to alternate speeches and table topics being between both languages, whenever possible.
Guests are welcome, and will be asked for a short introduction at the start of the meeting and for their feedback at the end of the meeting.
Come and experience it for yourself!
We meet at the Quaker House, Square Ambiorix 50, 1000 Brussels (Métro Schuman), on the first and third Thursday of the month. Welcome coffee at 6.45 pm.
