Hi!! My name is Civvy Fogelson. I am a senior Psychology major in the Dual Bachelors/Masters program. I will be completing my Bachelors in May 2010 and plan to continue with my Masters at Rutgers as well. I will be the first person in my large family to complete my degree, something of which I am very proud. I take my education seriously and I'm proud to have gotten where I am now. Aside from my formal education I am interested in knowledge for it's own sake. I occasionally log on to Wikipedia in my free time and click a random article and start reading. I've learned some pretty interesting stuff that way. It's not all work though, whenever I need a good laugh I check out the Uncyclopedia.

I live in Collingswood with my boyfriend Joe. Joe and I met on OKC in January and have been very happy together since. We're a pretty active couple. We enjoy hiking, caving, kayaking, off-roading, biking, and even the occasional walk. This past summer we took a 17 day cross country camping road trip. It was the first time camping for either of us so it was quite an adventure! We would have been lost without GORP.

We're also very in to cars. Joe has been restoring his 1964.5 Mustang since he was 16, it's a beauty. We also take every opportunity to add off-road equipment to his truck. Recently, we decided scooters would be fun and thus have a 1980 Vespa hanging out in our kitchen that we tinker with on weekends. To fuel our various obsessions we spend quite a bit of time browsing craigslist for good deals.

I'm a fan of writing and am an avid facebook blogger. I tend to slack off in my blogging during the semester but on the off-time I generally can't be shut up. I'm interested in the other arts as well, especially singing. I take voice lessons and hope to someday take piano. As much as I desire to have real musical skill, I can't ever say no to a good game of Rock Band.

I am interested in learning more about the rise of blogging in society. Specifically, the various ways people use blogging and what they gain, or possibly lose, from it.
