The Ciudad Soil and Water Conservation District, a political subdivision of the state of New Mexico, promotes the conservation, improvement and responsible use of the natural resources on the rural and urban lands within its boundaries. Responsibilities for SWCDs in the state are outlined in the New Mexico Soil and Water Conservation District Act

(73-20-45 et. seq. NMSA):

We need your input to make sure we are addressing the natural resource concerns most important to you! Ciudad SWCD and NRCS strive to work with our landowners and communities to sustain and improve soil, water, air, plants, and wildlife and livestock resources in our region. In order to identify needs of the community and provide priorities for our work, we need your input. Taking this short survey will allow us to serve you better.
