City of Marion - Zoning Code Update Project Website

The City of Marion has with the assistance of Phlat Earth Planning Consultants completed a DRAFT of the proposed Zoning Ordinance.  The Ordinance in its completion is availble for review and comment.  At this time we will be requesting written comments only, in the near future we will be conducting open houses where the public will be invited to review the proposed Zoning Code with City Staff and discuss the changes and any concerns you may have.

We'll be posting additional information here as well as the City of Marion Website (www.cityofmarion.org) as it becomes available.  Hard copies are available for review at the Marion City Hall.

Corridor Development Standards Overlay District - Public Hearing Scheduled for November 18, 2008  at 6:00 PM at the Marion Planning and Zoning Commission for recommendation to the Marion City Council.  A map of the area within the overlay district may be found HERE (pdf) it may take a minute to upload.  All properties highlighted will be affected by this oridinance.
