Roadie's tidbits # 1246: A total f*** up by the hasher who we call Eric (to his face). It beggars belief that he walked past the iconic H3 pub The Royal Oak to get to the nondescript Victoria. Beer was rubbish although food was served. And to be fair it was half decent, or at least it seemed so at the time to us emaciated not so much from the run, which was a paltry 4 miles, but from the trek from the station. I on the otherhand took advantage of the newly refurbished Wellington to enjoy a libation or two and avoid the crush at the Duke of Sussex. Roadie's City tidbits run # 1253 held 24 April 2012 at Ladbroke Grove: This run had the lot: gritty urban wasteland, HMP, scenic parkland with nature trails, canals, drunken tramps directing runners, huge warehouse fire with attendant firemen, flock of nesting parakeets, railway infrastructure depot and the MOTHER OF ALL FOOTBALL GAMES!
