Bugs - July 15, 2009 We read several poems, sang several songs about bugs and insects, and discussed this topic with kids. Birds - July 8, 2009 We read several poems about birds, and discussed this topic with kids; we were singing songs and imitating different kinds of birds. Transportation - July 1, 2009 We read several books with poems about different kids of transportation, and had open discussion with kids, sung several songs. Towards the end kids had some active play (games, puzzles, etc). We read several poems about summer, rain, summer activities, and discussed these topics with kids.
