As your child grows, he experiences a variety of jolts, bumps, spills and twists in normal daily activities that can lead to aches, pains and weakness later in life. Learning to walk, falling off a bike or skates, landing wrong on a trampoline, sports injuries... when the results of these kinds of accidents are left untreated, the body begins to change and adapt, trying to compensate for the problem. This can mean trouble for your child’s future health. Likewise wearing a backpack improperly (too much weight, carrying it on one shoulder) can “train” the spine to lean (compensate) to one side or to squeeze in the middle. This workshop is designed to help parents prevent, treat and reverse these misalignments and give our children a fighting chance to maintain health and energy while they grow up with the bumps and bruises associated with having fun!
