Who of us hasn’t experienced back pain? Maybe we chalk it up to having “slept funny” or its because we were sitting at a computer all day. Its true that both of these things can cause minor or major pain and stiffness, but it is also true that there are ways to prevent and treat these kinds of pain without the use of harmful drugs. By identifying some of the stressors our backs can face on a daily basis and how best to combat them, we can better arm ourselves against impending pain and inflammation. It’s the little things we didn’t even know we were doing to create the problem. Fix those and not only are back attacks gone, but we increase strength, stamina and productivity both in our work time and in our play time. In this learn-by-doing session we’ll cover posture, correct lifting procedures and a list of little gems to keep us happy, healthy and performing at our best!
