Goal:  For each Professional Learning Team to develop an action plan to improve all students learning using both individual and school data.

 Role:  You are employed by the international study team YES WE CAN.  You and your team of research consultants have been charged with identifying growth areas for Port Susan Middle School and each of its Professional Learning Teams.  Likewise, you also have been asked to identify areas of celebration.

Audience: National Association of Data for Improved Schools.

Situation: An international study team called YES WE CAN has chosen Port Susan Middle School to be involved in their action research project.  Port Susan was chosen as a potential Island of Excellence in the State of Washington.  You work for YES WE CAN, and have been asked to analyze data and make suggestions for the school and individual teachers.

Product: An action plan that a specific PLT at Port Susan will implement in the 2007 - 2008 school year to help the school make progress towards 90 by 09.

Standards: An Action Plan that will be implemented in the classroom.
