Churchview
The Churchview Estate is located in Laindon and within the Lee Chapel North area of Basildon. It was originally known as the Bluehouse Estate which was demolished and rebuilt by Basildon Community Housing Association (later Swan Housing Association) in 1994.
Churchview comprises over 600 traditional brick built properties which are mainly semi-detached with garages.
Churchview RA
Churchview Residents Association was established to replace the old Bluehouse Residents Association and held it's inaugural meeting in the year 2000.
Churchview Residents Association seeks to represent the interests of residents of the Churchview Estate in Laindon on matters affecting the area.
Why have a Residents Association?
To give everyone living on Churchview a greater say in their environment, the management of their homes and a louder voice in resolving issues with the landlord and the local community.
We want to develop a sense of community by involving residents in community based projects such as:
- Sports
- Specialist Groups
- Leisure Activities
- Youth Development & Involvement.
- Creating a sense of pride in the community and counteracting anti-social behaviour.
