About our Contributors Reverend Harold Moss, CES High Priest of Heru, Temple of Horus, Boise Idaho. Rev. Moss is a regular contributor to the CES newsletter and Khepera magazine. Rev. Moss is one of the original founding fathers of the CES and throughout his life he has met or became friends of some of the most influential people of the Neo Pagan movement.
Reverend Michael Poe, CES High Priest of Ptah, Temple of Ptah, Portland Oregon. Rev. Poe has degrees in Archaeology and has worked as an archaeologists and has been a member of the CES for 30 years. He is currently the President of the CES. Some of his writings can be found throughout the web. He also does Egyptian artwork.
Reverend Joanna Linsley-Poe, CES High Priestess of Renenutet and Seshat for the Temple of Renenutet and Seshat, in Portland Oregon. Continuing her studies of Nutritional Archaeology and a long time student of Ancient Egypt Joanna also is a chef and developing recipes from ingredients grown or imported into Ancient Egypt for a cookbook. She is also currently working as the temple alchemist reconstructing different Kyphi incense recipes. She as also started a temple garden, growing hertbs found in Ancient Egypt. Submissions for Papyri Articles, hymns or ritual elements, poetry, book and web reviews, artwork and news are solicited from the pagan community. We reserve the right to edit for length and content. Only original work please. Articles should be between 250-1000 words in length. Please include a short 1-paragraph biography on yourself. Please submit by word-processed manuscript, or via email. Put “submission” and type of submission (such as “hymn”) on subject line of email. Tab on email button to the left. See submissions guidelines for our magazine Khepera, but put in Subject line in your email to us “Papyri submission” We reserve the rights for items submitted for later publications or use, but the author is free to reuse the material.
Submissions for our magazine Khepera
Khepera, a journal of the Church of the Eternal Source is seeking submissions of articles and artwork for its upcoming issue whose main topic is “Goddesses of Ancient Egypt.” Articles, ritual elements, hymns, and/or artwork on a specific Goddess in the Ancient Egyptian mythology, spiritual properties, anything related to Ancient Egyptian approach to an Egyptian Goddess, or modern, Neo Pagan approach; personal relationship to a goddess, personal Egyptian Goddess shrine and related subjects. You may email us with your idea as well as the finished product. Other Goddess related material could include Egyptology news, sacred sites, and traditions, book reviews. All material must be submitted by the author/artists only. Any material submitted the CES reserves the right to use in other publications and materials. Text submissions: Send us articles that are 500 to 3,000 words or less. We reserve the right to edit material received. Please do not send handwritten material. If word-processed please follow the guidelines below: Double spaced pages typed in standard font. Do not use colored paper or backgrounds. We encourage submissions by disk or email as a separate attachment. Cite references for all material that is quoted or is not your own thinking including author, title, year, publisher. Image Submissions: Artwork can be in black and white or color. Originals may be submitted as well as high quality reproductions. If submitting as computer files, be sure that they are in GIF or JPEG files compatible with the PC platform. All photographs should be in good contrast color. Submitting material: material not previously published is preferred. Include your legal name, address, phone and email with your submission. Indicate how your submission should be credited. Biography is optional if it is published.
