In the Book Dancing In the Crosshairs, takes you on a journey through the twisted road of our composite character, Pastor Joel, on his way to fewer bad days and practical steps out of grief from forced termination.

Declining relationships, church conflict, ethical lapse, stupid choices, power plays, passive-aggressive leadership and plain old sin are all classic causes of having to leave a church against your will.  If this has happened to you then you are now a member of the unpopular club of terminated pastors.  We are a quiet and unstable lot who barely acknowledge our own membership, but you are welcome with open arms.

In this thirty-one day devotional you will experience the forced termination of Pastor Joel, see how this trauma affects his family, church, and spiritual life and then explore ways to heal from such terrible days. Welcome to a chance to live again.  Welcome to our club.  Welcome to this book.  Welcome to the dance.
