Assignment

Watch this presentation about Color Theory.  You will use color theory and harmonies in today's assignment.

1. Download the file 3 - Color Theory.ai below and open it in illustrator.
2. Go to the Color Scheme Designer website.  This interactive color wheel allows you to select a color and find its harmonies automatically.
3. Turn each of the boxes into Live Paint objects.  This will allow you to use the paint bucket to quickly color in closed off sections of an object.
4. Select all of the lines of the first box.
5. Select the Live Paint Bucket tool (K).
6. Click anywhere on the box. It should say Click to make a live paint group.
7. Once the Live Paint group is created, you can use the paint bucket to fill in any points defined by overlapping lines.
   
8. Using the Color Scheme Designer, color in each box in the assignment according to its labeled color harmony.
9. When finished, upload the file to your blog.
