Languages:
 
English is my mother tongue.  I know grammar rules really well, which is a definite advantage when drafting contracts.
 
I am also fluent in French.  Although I have worked in French for many years, I originally picked up French by watching the Expos on RDS.
 
German is my much weaker, third language.  Because the Netherlands border Germany, I have access to Germany TV and newspapers which is helping me to improve.

Other news:

I got married in July 2010 in Hluhluwe, South Africa (at this game reserve lodge)
 
I wrote my masters thesis on international standards for independence referendums.
