My name is Christine Tomey and I am pursuing my masters in Educational Technology at Michigan State University.  I have a teaching degree from Michigan State University with a major in English and minor in History.  I student taught at North Farmington High School in Farmington Hills, MI and also took on a long-term subbing position there for a full year.  Currently, I teach English and Yearbook at University Liggett School in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI and this is my third year there.

I love technology and the advancements it brings to the classroom.  I feel that it can help students collaborate better and bring different skills to the class.  I am constantly looking for new technology to integrate into my classes and love when students can teach me new skills.  As this site grows and my degree advances, I will be adding content of great technological teaching sites.  As a class, we consistently share ideas/sites and I think it is a great resource that should be available to others as well.
