    We have new hours on Tuesdays only.  In addition to the regular 10AM-1PM Monday through Friday hours, the Outreach Center & Thrift Store is now open Tuesdays 4:30PM - 6PM.

Welcome

Our Mission Statement:

The Christian Community Outreach is established to provide stability to families in crisis with food, clothing, emergency financial aid with utility bills, counseling, and referral services.

Our clients must live in the 37138 zip code. We feel when people have crisis situations in their lives they need a smiling, friendly person to help them.

We are a Christian organization and will serve any persons who request help if they live in 37138 zip code and are in a crisis situation.

Huge Bargains Sale - First Saturday of Each Month

Come out to find some great bargains in our thrift store at 9am on the First Saturday of each month in March through September.  Help support the work of the Outreach Center and find some great deals for your family.  Items include clothes, household items...

What's Happening

  • Food Drive May 14
    The Annual Post Office Can Food Drive will be held Saturday, May 14th from 9am – 3pm.  Many Volunteers from the community are needed. Please show up at 9am or when available at the Old Hickory Post Office. Carla McCauley will be in charge. Drivers and runners are needed at 9am to pick up food from the houses and bring  back to the Post Office.  All food collected will be used by the Outreach Center to help those in need in Old Hickory.

  • Annual Fashion Show June 25
    The 2011 Fashion Show and Luncheon will be held June 25 at the Old Hickory Church of Christ Annex bldg.  Tickets are $12.  The luncheon will begin at 11:30am and will be followed by a fashion show  - showcasing clothes from the Outreach Center thrift store, and worn by volunteer models from Old Hickory churches.  This annual fundraiser benefits the Old Hickory Christian Community Outreach Center and its continuing efforts to help people in need in Old Hickory.  Please join us for a fun event that benefits a great cause.  Area churches are being asked to provide five or more baked goods that will be up for sale at the fashion show to raise additional funds.
