 me to a thriving Christian community of 300+ adults and 150+ children and young people. It is led by a team of clergy and lay leaders whose job it is to help us grow in our worship, our fellowship and our learning. And you are very welcome to join us!The Rev Nicholas Henshall - vicar of Christ Church. Nicholas became vicar of Christ Church in September 2008. Before that he served in parishes in Newcastle and on the staff of Derby Cathedral.
The Revd Helen Bailey - assistant curate. Helen has been full time curate here at Christ Church since July 2010. Before ordination Helen was a teacher in North Yorkshire.  The Revd Clive Sedgewick - honrary assistant priest. Clive has been on the staff at Christ Church since 2005. His princpal ministry is as Director of Education for the Dioceses of Ripon & Leeds and Bradford. Canon Brian Abell - honorary
The Revd Colin Lenton - honorary assistant priest (retired). Colin is gifted teacher and lecturer, who has had a strong ministry in Christian education alongside the work of a parish priest.
The Revd Dr Geoff Turner - honorary assistant priest (retired). Geoff has served in parish ministry in a very wide range of contexts from inner city Liverpool to rural Cambridgeshire, as well as communications officer for the Diocese of Ely. Geoff, a scientist by training, has a particular interest in the relationship between science and religion. |
