Mumbles

Web Site:

Mt. Zion

The chapel was built in 1850, but after an extension in 1860 it could hold a massive 500 people seated with 300 in the body of the hall and the remainder in the gallery.  It is obvious from history that the chapel has seen many changes over its 150 odd years and in 2007 it has been refurbished totally inside.

It certainly was commonplace to call chapels in Wales by biblical names and this chapel is no exception.  The chapel is called Mt. Zion for it speaks of the Mt. Zion to come that God has promised.  Jerusalem (Mt. Zion) will be established forever on the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Soon he is to return to redeem the world from its present madness and bring in a new political system based on righteousness.

During 2011 Mumbles Christadelphians held Saturday talks, presentations and other events in our hall in Oystermouth Square. You may have attended one or several of these and we thank you for your interest. If you have not done so yet, we hope to interest you in coming during 2012. Lasting about 45 minutes all presentations take place in a relaxed mood and atmosphere.

Free Light Refreshments are included.
