Children's Crisis Outreach Response System (CCORS) for Puget Sound Area, WA

King County's Children's Crisis Outreach Response System (CCORS) provides crisis services to children, youth and families in King County who are not already enrolled in the publicly funded King County Mental Health Plan (KCMHP). CCORS also provides limited services to children and youth who are currently enrolled in the KCMHP.

For general questions about CCORS, you can call YMCA Family Services and Mental Health at 206-382-5340. Student must live in King County in order to be served by CCORS

CCORS recommended to call the Crisis Line for the county your school is located in to find out more about their crisis services.

Snohomish County lost their contract for their program. They do have an Emergency Crisis Care Line (425-258-4357 or 1-800-584-3578) through their county mental health provider - Compass Health.

Reliable Resource on welfare of children and youth: Casey Foundation Releases Kids Count Report

The Annie E. Casey Foundation has released its annual Kids Count report. The data included within the report cover a range of topics related to the well-being of children in our society, such as indicators related to health and wellness, educational attainment, and socioeconomic status. State-by-state profiles are also included.
