This is a picture of us taking our vows at our wedding, August first 2009 in the afternoon.  We are in the back yard and it was a very beautiful day that complimented my beautiful bride. 

The week before our wedding it rained most of the time so I had to cut the lawn a couple of hours before the justice of the peace came.  While I was mowing Christine was in the back decorating.  This is probably  how she got a very bad case of poison ivy.

It was just us at the wedding because we both have been married before and thought it should be between us, as a couple, and god.

It was like no other wedding I have ever been to.  There was no rush or anxiety for either the bride or the groom.  It was like we finally arrived at the point in our lives where we we supposed to be.

As I said before the weather was awful the week before the ceremony.   A couple of hours before we were ready the clouds parted and the sun came out.  It was like Christine's mom and my dad were telling us we were doing the right thing and blessing us.
