you mean tachi, thats completely different koshirae. the verb to wear a
katana specifically implies blade orientation. tachi you use the word
haku when it's worn katana and wakisashi have the verb sahi. it's never
correct to wear a katana blade down

jindachi is a tachi used in combat it's a different sword than katana陣
jin is encampment or battleformation 太刀 tachi is the sword hung from
the belt so jindachi is used with the verb haku so it's not a katana

Well, I found an ogawa ryu video doing a batto with jindachi. The three
levels of kata only do Iaido. Tanaka also teaches kenjutsu and
Battojutsu. I have seen him switch from katana to jindachi and uppercut
with his hand placed under monouchi. Well, not him but I think it was
his daughter.

Practice, you won't find it there. See if you have any of his kenjutsu

its not worn JIndachi all the time, only for certain batto.
ogawa ryu isn't a real school. they're made up youtube school based on
kaze arashi ryu which was a made up ryu. the idea of a sword only being
worn ha down for a specific move implies that the opponent will know
what draw you're about to do so it gives away the technique and
wouldn't be done. i'll go through the curriculum of tsksr and the other
ryu and see if you're misinterpreting it, because some of those
techniques are meant for tachi

tai chi is a Chinese martial art (of a sort), you mean tachi. but a
katana should always be with the Ha upwards. tachi is a different sword
or something, not a style. i'm not sure of the differences between it
and normal katana except the way to wear it.
