Very nice, especially liked the explanation of Straight Chinese-style
swords vs Japanese style swords at the end of the clip. This was fun,
although it was too easy picking out Koreans (look for the odd-sized
top hats). However, most of the Korean pictures paints Koreans in a
very poor light. Oh well, historical accuracy vs political correctness
I guess, although I could see why some Koreans may be offended by such
comparisons.

i find it strange that we have people who know korean history and use
korean historical texts [muyetobotongji, sam guk sagi] yet koreans like
greg, vank, world hwarangdo association (their founder was known to
take hapkido in the 60s) spread lies and anti-japanese sentiment in
america. when you do not agree with koreans you are racist when you
prove them wrong and inaccurate you are racist koreans think everyone

Well, I'm an American and I've managed to do fine in this little test.
What I don't understand is the point your trying to make. All your
doing is showing the good in your culture then showing what is deemed
bad about Japan. Basically, your strategies are the same. Both are
immature and neither will solve a single thing. Oh, and your not
getting the compensation from the past so give it up.

However, it's a continuous and daily sight in Seoul. It has long been known that they're eccentric people and I think that they've always been that way from very early times. Honestly speaking, I had expected more outrageous story and I found it a touch anticlimactic. haha.
We have much to talk about.
I have seen the same demonstrations in Korea. In America when you tell a Japanese they are ignorant of American cultures or they have done something wrong, they kindly apologize for making the mistake. In the same situation, most KOreans I've encountered would raise their voice and say "In Korea, this isn't rude!" Well, some Koreans do not realize they are in a different country I guess.
(1)As for this video, many people (mainly non-Korean American Koreans)
told me that those pictures were fake and only taken from the "ssang
nom" part of Korea.
You see, historically, less than 5% of Korean population were "yang ban" or rich merchants. That means over 90% of the population were poor, endentured servants, slaves or lower caste. Majority of Koreans believe their family were rich. This was because the Japanese occupation got rid of caste system.
(2) Without westernization or Japanese influence, MANY Koreans would
still be in the same situation wearing white clothes and stealing from
one another.
Koreans who believe teh Japanese occupation was positive are labeled as "chin il pa" Koreans who believe Japanese were hairy, short, inferiori people are praised as patriots. This can be seen as Buffon showed in his videos that doing bad things and saying "I'm Japanese' is considered patriotism in South Korea.
There are in fact many Koreans who were born in Japan during the occupation.
My family are Korean but were born in Kyoto during the occupation. However, they don't go around lying and telling people they are Japanese. A lot of Koreans say this to hold dual citizenship. Quite common for people of that time. If Greg is 42, you place his parents to be atleast 60 something. Because his parents are born in Japan doesn't make him Japanese. It means his parents have Japanese citizenship
(2) Telling people you are Japanese is a way to get westerners to
listen. Westerners are infact very infatuated with the samurai, ninja,
budo culture.
If you live in Los Angeles, you will see many Tae Kwon Do studios that will BLATANTLY advertise KARATE, JUDO, KENDO even though they teach only TKD. They do this to entice people to come in, but what's fucked up is that once they start attending the classes, the Anti-Japanese sentiment is taught.
(3) This similar tactic can be seen in Choson Ninja's behavior. I've
talked to him before and asked him to stay away from the history
portion but he doesn't listen.
He does the same thing. He advertises himself as a 1/2 Japanese ninja and says he has nothing but love for both countries, but infact his videos show just how much he doesn't liek Japanese people. Saying everything came from Korea shows that he feels Japan has no originality and that everything must come from Korea.

Let`s take one example: If a Korean exchange student is invited to her/his friend's home as a guest, she opens the refrigerator door without permission as soon as she enters into the house and takes out ice cream or a slice of watermelon from that, then sits down without asking and begins to eat.

the korea got its culture from mongols.
japan got it frm china. korean people have more in common with kung fu/fist fighting than swords. we were known for archery skills,while japan was known for there sword. btw kim doo han used to ,take out yakuza using katana with his fists. thats korean way.
