Bin Location Module
This module provides a unique code for each stock location re: warehouse, store, row, aisle, tier and pallet. In addition, allowance is made for goods held in a bulk store.
Products can be allocated to one or more bin locations. Goods will be booked into bulk stock through purchase order receipts or warehouse stock posting. The warehouse staff will then transfer stock from bulk into appropriate picking areas using radio frequency hand held terminals to determine where in the warehouse a product can be found. The transfer routine will down date bulk stock and update picking stock. The radio frequency hand held terminals will also have the ability to transfer between picking locations or back to warehouse. This shortage report is used to replenish picking stocks from bulk store.
