You've reached Chockalingam's research website. I am a PhD candidate in MIT's AeroAstro department where I also completed my Masters degree in 2019. I work in  Professor Tal Cohen's Nonlinear Solid Mechanics Group.

I was born and brought up in Chennai, India. I received my B.Tech degree with Honors from the Aerospace Engineering department at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. My academic and research interests lie primarily in the study of mechanics of materials using both theoretical and computational methods. You can find out more by exploring the tabs at the top.
