PUBLIC ACCESS TO CHIPPENHAM TOWN BOWLS GREEN
The bowls green is available for hire by other bowling clubs subject to availability. A charge of £12 per rink per game will apply.
Individual Rinks may be hired by the public at a charge of £2 per person per hour. All equipment is provided free of charge. Hiring of individual rinks under floodlights will only be allowed if other rinks are being used by club members.
Facilities for the disabled have been provided and bookings are treated as any other.
The Green is available for use by schools on Wednesday afternoons rate £10 per session, includes coaching. 3 Rinks already booked 3 available.
All hiring is subject to availability and that the people hiring the green conform to section 6 of the Chippenham Town Bowls Club Constitution. See appendix 1.
Open days are held every year to encourage public participation.
To hire a rink or the green please telephone one of the club officers listed under contacts. Appendix 1 Excerpt of Constitution Section 6 (e) Experienced non member bowlers may hire a rink, if one is available. (f) Inexperienced non member bowlers may hire a rink, if available, but must be authorised as competent by the club coach. (g) Non members will be required to join the club after using the green three times, excluding coaching sessions. |
