LEAGUE BACKGROUND

The Combat Rock League was founded during the Spring of 1999 (real time) by Kevin Goldstein (KG) and began with players from the 1982 season, which was chosen as the league's first season because it was the first of Diamond Mind's "deluxe" season disks which included left/right splits.

With each subsequent baseball season, the league is renamed based on the title of the best album of that year according to KG. Over the past nine years, the league has grown from 15 to 18 and now to 20 teams.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
  • Kevin Goldstein, for starting the best fantasy league ever and allowing me to be part of it.
  • Chuck Miller, who selflessly runs the annual free agent drafts.
  • The other members of the league who I consider friends.
