Chilton Cantelo School Oldies...The Cotes-James Era...1959-89...Mainly the first 30 years.

I am very pleased to announce that a very special Cotes-James era reunion is being planned for Saturday 18th August, 2012 with the blessing of Dr & Mrs John Price who are going out of their way to help us.

A surprise meeting with old boy Peter Isaac.

                             MICHAEL BRAKE                                 GLENVILLE MCLEAN

Hi Clive,

Two CCH oldboys recently had a reunion after 44 years! Glenville McLean and Michael Brake (1967) met in Cobourg, Ontario, approximately half-way between our abodes. This constituted 50% of the Canadian contingent, the two others (that we know of) being on Canada's far-left coast (Vancouver, B.C.).

Our meeting place was not quite the Red Lion or the Marston Inn in Marston Magna, but we were able to get a couple of pints of Tetley's and something resembling a pub meal. We caught up on old times, did some reminiscing, and tried to identify the whereabouts of as many other oldboys as we could. Given our trips to each others' respective cities, it is a wonder we haven't stumbled upon each other before over the last 30 years.

As you can see, Michael on the left is still looking pretty trim and fit, and the unidentified subject on the right has had the image "fogged" as he is still in the Witness Protection Program (hence the venue).

Cheers,

Glen McLean
Ottawa.
