Therapy and Care Taker Training for CP Children

According to statistics, there are around 3 to 4 million children suffering from cerebral palsy in China and 60,000 newborn are diagnosed with cerebral palsy each year and the possibility of these children being abandoned is very high. Therapy and care taker training is the key to help these children lead a live closer to healthy kid. Started in 2005, the program has helped set up therapy and training rooms at over 80 welfare institutions and over 8,000 children have received professional therapy and training. 

 

 

l       Who do we help?

Children of all ages in the welfares homes and communities around.

 

l       How do we help?

Fundraise for welfare homes in need to set up therapy and training rooms and train care takers and parents of CP children there;

Train therapists and improve their skills;

Help the children to receive the surgeries if necessary.

 

l       What are subsidies?:

RMB 40, 000to set up a basic therapy and training room in one institution;

RMB 20, 000to help pay for one term of CP training class for therapist.

 

l       How do donors get updates?

A therapy and training room can be named after the donor, and the donor can visit the children at any time.

 

l       To join us, you can:

1.        Donate any amount to set up a therapy and training room.

2.        Join the team to help with the program.

3.        Visit the children in the training room, be their friends and encourage them to continue their therapy.
