 Home of Children’s Hope International (HCHI) provides temporary foster care for orphans from different welfare homes in China. Since 2004, some 30 children have called HCHI home. Some have been adopted and 16 children are still on the adoption list. All these children have special medical conditions but have gone through correction surgeries or are waiting for surgeries. Most of them are waiting a place they call home with parents of their own.
l Who do we help? The orphan who had gone through surgery and needs to recovery in Beijing;
l How do we help? We provide a short-term foster care for children until they become healthy or find adoptive family.
l What are subsidies: RMB 1,000 for each child per month, RMB 400,000 for a foster home with 10 children (including hosing rental, monthly expenses, staff’s salary, children’s food, cloths and so on).
l To join us, you can: 1. Be the sponsor for one child. 2. Donate all kinds of necessary materials like food, cloth, diaper, toys. 3. Be volunteers in HCHI, play with children, cook for them, do cleaning or whatever as you are good at.
