StupidPeople & Places that have pissed me off

"I thoroughly disapprove of duels. I consider them unwise and I know they are dangerous. Also, sinful. If a man should challenge me now I would go to that man and take him kindly and forgivingly by the hand and lead him to a quiet retired spot and kill him." Mark Twain

Wal-Greens in Norwood

The Wal-Green's in Norwood is the most obnoxious place to go run and conveniently pick anything up.  It would really be much quicker to run up to Hyde Park and find a convenience store there rather than stand in their line.  I haven't rightfully decided if it's the employees there that don't know how to work the registers or call for backup or the customers and they're 500 coupons, but I've never wasted more time in my life.  Not even while I slept.

Went in to grab toilet paper.  Service was not the worst service I've had in comparison.  It still took too long to ring anyone up and they hide the razors.  I went up to the jewlery counter and proceeded to ask, "I would like you to explain to me why I am blind and cannot find the razors," in which the response was, "You're not blind, we hid them."  I actually had an associate even ask, "Can I help find anything?", but this was before I knew I would have to hunt for the razors.  The line was still slow and too long, but again, not bad for a day at Norwood Wal-Greens.

Monday, September 25, 2006

Had to go to get cough medicine very early in the morning.  I am paying for the fact that I did not go sooner still.  There were about four customers in the store, two of which I am fairly certain were high on crack.  I found the cough medicine and had to wait in front of the counter for a salesperson for about three minutes before she came in to ring me up.  I was the only person in line.  Stupid.

Kenwood Mall

First of all, let's not discount that this is one of the snobbiest malls of all time.  Combine that with a bunch of rich people who actually have nothing better to do and a bunch of low-life's that are looking for a place to stand in that's air conditioned and you have the slowest moving mall in entire US.  No one at the Kenwood Mall has anywhere better to be, so they'd rather stroll and stop in the middle of the aisles as though time will one day not end for any of us.

Play by Play Cafe

This place is the biggest waste of revenue on the planet.  Beautiful stage, good sound and what do they do?  Cover bands.  One of the orders takes more pride in bossing people around and trying to get laid and the other is his chump.  It's so fucking beautiful and no one knows what the hell they're doing.  It's heart-wrenching.

Purple People Bridge Climb

Don't get me wrong.  I love the Purple People Bridge for it's actually purpose... to get purple people across it, but please explain to me why in the sam hell and tarnation people would pay $40 for a two hour course on climbing steps.  These people get all dressed up in yellow and purple climbnig suits and climb steps that are seriously only about twenty feet higher than where you're standing on the bridge when you cross the Ohio River anyway.  Who's incredibly stupid marketing concept was this?  And who are these people who fork over the $40 + tax to do it?  If I meet any of you and you think it was worth your money or cool, I will punch you.  The only person who's brilliant idea this was is the person who's laughing at you while they take all the commission while you're climbing stairs that go absolutely nowhere interesting.
