Welcome to my home.. my page :)

     This page is built on the premise that I will continue to have a lot of free time in my life and that I shall be able to drag myself away from all that time once in a while to describe my life here.. Let's start then!! 

My name is Chetan Kalyan (claps!!).. I am now a grad student at stanford( in computer science, no less!!) . I like AI, robots, cars and planes, in the reverse order :). I can be very lazy or very active, depending on the situation at hand.. I haven't tried any adventurous stuff till now, like trekking or mountain climbing or jumping off a plane with a camera and a yell.. I may, at some point in the future, do the first and last ones in that list.. Let's see.. 

Oh, one more thing.. I seem to be happier than normal  (which is pretty happy) when I have some sort of to-do list on a piece of paper in front of me. I have no idea why,  but the best reason I've been able to come up with till now  is that I like  to know that I have  a limited amount of free time and that this free time will be followed by long hours of head cracking... Is that weird? Hmm.. Am I weird? Hmm.. :)
