Hello all , this is the Warrington Branch auction I mentioned at the last club night . A nice venue - I used to meet there with my farmers group - and a worthy charity to support . Regards Bill .
Hello Bill A Happy New Year to you and indeed all your branch members. Apologies for not replying to your email earlier, I have been away. We would be delighted if any of your branch members would like to join us for our social evening. Details are as follows: Venue The Antrobus Arms Date Saturday 14 January Timing 8.00pm ish We will be having an auction and if any of your members would like to contribute anything please do so. All proceeds of the auction go to our charity which is St Rocco's hospice in Warrington. If anybody has anything they want to sell that is a high priced item, or where they want to keep the proceeds that is fine too, if say a donation was made to the St roccos fund. In other words we are very flexible on this and the bigger the auction the better. I hope some of your members will join us and I would appreciate having a chat with you, if you are able to make it, and lets see if we can organise some joint runs out this year. regards Paul 22nd November
At last nights meeting, we had discussed club T-shirts and machine badges.
and T-shirts will consist of "Ed's Rocket 3" Design, the discussion of a colour similar to - Brunswick Green (According to Google, shows a picture of the Flying Scotsman) or possibly a darker green, and the design to be of yellow/gold in colour. We are also looking at having a new club logo, which could go on the new shirts ready for the camp weekend, again colours and design need to be looked at, there is a possibility of some mugs being made up again, but incorporating the new logo. Whilst we are designing, Bill is looking at having machine badges made up, again we need a design and colour options, remember the more colours the more expensive the cost. So if anyone wants to be adventurous in design, please have a go and either email it, or bring it to the next meeting. One more.... Just to mention again about the Christmas Dinner, if you have not booked yet, please do so! There are few places left.
