CCS Award for ASCRS Annual Meeting

Since 2015, the Chesapeake Colorectal Society (CCS) has sponsored a regional society award for a basic Science e-poster presentation at the ASCRS Annual Scientific Meeting. CCS participates in sponsoring an award on the odd number years of the ASCRS Annual Meeting.

ASCRS reaches out to CCS to participate in sponsoring the award for the odd year ASCRS Annual Scientific Meeting, sending CCS a letter/invitation to participate the summer prior. The award recipients are selected during the corresponding ASCRS Annual Scientific Meeting. If CCS chooses to continue the sponsorship, it will be invoiced for $750, which includes the cost of the plaque, the $500 check award, and the shipping of the plaque and check. The award recipient will receive congratulatory email notifications after the corresponding ASCRS Annual Meeting. The Regional Societies will also be informed of the award winners via email after the corresponding ACRS Annual Meeting.
