Dear Parents,

         Here are important events that will occur during October:

PTA meeting and program featuring all  children in second grade in Temples and Tombs on October 13th. 

SCA Skating Party October 17th

Magic Show October 23rd

Star Breakfast October 30th

First Grade Fall Celebration  and parade  October 31st from  12:00 - 12:50.

        Please encourage your child to meet or exceed the reading goal of twelve books for October.  It would be terrific if our class  read more books than any other class in Virginia Beach and earned  a pizza party  and the opportunity to eat with members of the Norfolk Admirals Hockey Team.  We can do it if we work hard.

        I would welcome help in the classroom from parents.  The children love having their parents at Tallwood.
