Our school has again been awarded Activemark Gold for PE. This is a very special Award given by Sport of England in recognition of our very high standards and for our commitment to promoting all aspects of physical activities e.g. gymnastics, dance, games, skipping, Buzz Time and After School Clubs. 

Two Year two children went to Netherhall School on 20th February 2007 to receive our new certificate from British Olympic Javalin Thrower Goldie Sayers.

To achieve the accreditation from Sport England, a school must prove it offers a well-balanced physical education programme and provides an environment that encourages physical activity and teaches children the importance of staying active for life.

This is a very high achievement especially for an Infant School and we are very proud to have reached this top level.  It gives a true reflection of our beliefs for the physical fitness of our children.
