This years Magazine Campaign has come to a close and it was a huge success. I want to thank the many people who came out last night and helped me process all the order forms. A big thank you to: Betty Cole; Shelley Fraser; Nancy McCulloch; Jenny Taylor; and Vivan Welch & her husband. I also need to thank Louise Larose and Erin Joyce for all their support (and dealing with both me and the parents on a daily basis). Chelsea Home & School must also thank our parents and students for their tremendous effort making the Magazine Campaign the largest Chelsea Home & School Fundraising event. I would also like to thank Amberley Gauthier, from CCRP, for wowing our students and giving this campaign the lift it needed. The teachers too must be thanked for organizing all the forms, and encouraging their individual students to participate. I will need the teacher's patience as I work to distribute all the prizes over the next couple of weeks. Lastly Ralph Mason must be thanked for giving me run of the school's facilities, the use of his assistant, and for putting out all the brush fires my aggressive nature may have lit. Unofficially the Magazine Campaign made a Net Profit of $6061.52. For comparison, The 2008-2009 Magazine Campaign had a net profit of $3383.76. This year the Magazine Campaign had a 79% Growth and made an additional $2677.76. Bravo! Thank you all for your help and support. Mabel's Labels - Now Available for Ordering! This seems like an exciting organization that could help provide our children with an abundance of rich language opportunities. Check out our new Community Organizations page, for a letter from Anne describing the organization. If you're interested, get in touch with Anne - we could possibly set up some really neat programs at the school! | Other Links: Mabel's Labels FundraiserWeather LinksCold weather is coming!
