Fun Tin Can Holder
I am waiting on a larger can to become available (for my desk pens, pencils, ruler and scissors), but I decided that as these become available, I'm going to use them for my digiscrap supplies (because I'm slowly getting my crafting area situated in a corner of the room we use as an office). I will actually be using this one for my pens and pencils for now, but I thought it would look cute set up with some crafting scissors. Crafting 365, Day 15 ~ Butterfly!!
Please note: I didn't make the orange butterfly. I only cut out the blue wing shape. I can't work on my top hat until maybe tomorrow as the Papier-mache glue & water mixture still hasn't completely set. I'm fascinated by butterflies and I am wondering how to make them! I have noticed that a few are made out of feathers! So I sprayed the blue feather with gloss spray, waited for it to dry and then using scissors carefully cut the wing shape. I took the photo looking down into a dessert glass in my backyard if you are wondering how I achieved the unusual perspective.
