This horse was leading us. He is 12 yrs old. Bridge over Lake Taneycomo. We saw this on our carriage ride.
Another view of the bridge. A perfect day for a carriage ride. Not sure why my tongue was sticking out. A little cool breeze
but 60 degrees outside. Beautiful day.
Lake Taneycomo, a lonely goose sits by himself. Boat house.
This was where we ate supper. Was able to take a pic of it After the carriage ride we went to the Chocolat store.
as we were coming back into Branson in the carriage. We sat and relaxed and I had a cup of Cappucino
That eveining we went to Candlestick Inn for supper. This is where David took me on Valentines Day. We enjoyed it then and we enjoyed
it that night as well. We were 30 minutes early so we sat out on the deck and enjoyed the views and the weather.
Talking on the phone with Amie, again. David decided to try out the timer on our camera. Hey Mum, can you tell David has lost weight?
Candlestick Inn overlooks Branson Landing. The pipes you see are the fountain that lights up at dusk.
Another view of Branson Landing. Flowers in bloom on the deck.
More Flowers.
Time for supper. This is a 4 Star restaraount so that is why we only go on special occasions. David had the Halibut, Just for the Halibut
First Course was Bread and oil for dipping
French onion soup for Davd and the House Salad for me. The soup had a thick layer of cheese on top. My salad had walmuts and
rasberry vinigrette dressing. Very good.
For my entree I had Veal, Garlic potatoes and yucky asparagus. Desert for both of us was the Orange Dream Cheesecake.
After supper we drove into Branson to see the Spirit of the Dance. These 3 shots were the sun setting as we drove in to town.
We didn't take pictures at Spririt of the Dance, I'm not sure why. This was a show we have seen before, however they had changed over the years.
David won these tickets from D & D trucking when they had driver appreciation day. So that was a freebie show. We like the freebies.
We had a wonderful time spending time with one another. When David is on the road we sometimes lose contact with one another. WE each
lead our own lives and to bring them together at times can be very difficult. We need those days that we can focus on one another.
I hope you enjoyed the page just as much as I enjoyed taking the pictures.
Till next time, we love and miss all of you that we don't see on a regular basis.
