Fostering Father- Daughter/Son relationships…. No gift you give your daughter or son will mean as much as the time you spend with them. And you will find that you treasure those moments, as well. The YMCA Guide/Princess program is for boys & girls ages 5 to 12 and their dads. Following are some details of the program: How Much Does It Cost to Participate in the Guides/Princesses Program? The 2011-12 dues for the program are $120 per pair for non-members of the Harley Drive Family YMCA, $100 per pair for members. Each additional son/daughter in the program costs $35.
What Do the YMCA Guides/Princesses Do?
The YMCA Guides/Princesses program is ACTION-ORIENTED! Fathers and their sons/daughters participate in monthly meetings, Roller Skating, participation in the High Point Christmas Parade, Pinewood Derby, Community Service projects and more. The highlight of the program includes a spring and fall weekend trip to Camp Cheerio with many activities including Horseback Riding, Rock wall climbing, archery, canoeing, games, and much more. But best of all, the YMCA Guides & Princesses program is just plain fun for both father and child! What Are the Benefits in Participating in the Guides/Princess Program?
