2nd team tournament rules

-      The 2nd team tournament will have two rounds: round 1 will be played by anyone who signs in. The winners of round 1 are those who have a score that is equal or more on the number of games that have to be played, in this case 14. The final round will be played by the winner(s) of the first round. The winner of the final round will be the winner of the 2nd team tournament (in case of an equal score the player with the lowest rating past 90 days after the last game has finished, wins).

-         Each time, a mini-tournament will be started, but the score of the mini-tournament is not the actual score, it is shown in the link "2nd tournament - final round" here on the homepage.
-          You will play 4 games maximum at a time, 3 days to start + 1day added after every move, 5 days maximum.

-          Points will be rewarded by the end of every game:

--- In case you lose:

------ 0 points.

--- In case you draw:

------ if by the end of the game your rating is higher:  0.5 points.

------ if your rating is 0-49 points lower: 0.5 points.

------ if your rating is 50-99 lower:  1 point.

------ if your rating is 100-149 lower:  1.5 points.

------ if your rating is 150-199 lower:  2 points and so on.

--- In case you win:

------ if by the end of the game your rating is higher:  1 point.

------ if your rating is 0-49 points lower:  1 point.

------ if your rating is 50-99 lower:  2 points.

------ if your rating is 100-149 lower:  3 points.

------ if your rating is 150-199 lower:  4 points and so on.

I was thinking of scoring this way because lower rated players should also have a chance to win the tournament.

-     In case your opponent forfeits a game (this means, drop out of the tournament for any reason, but NOT in case of time-out), each player will receive one point, regardless their rating.

For those who don’t get team games because they timed out, it is okay to join the tournament. Should someone time out in tournament games, one won’t receive penalty time. You only harm yourself by timing out in tournament games, not the team (although I would like you to avoid that).

And finally: good luck to everybody!!
