March is here and with it a lot is happening in the guidance department.  I will be involved with the 5th grade SOL testing on the 4th and 5th.  The children seem ready for the challenge ahead.  The fourth grade has been writing a book on how to deal with bullies.  That has been a lot of fun for them and me!  We should have that ready to go in the library by the end of the month.  The other grades will be working on the character trait COOPERATION.  This is always a good time to remind the children to cooperate with one another.  Our next citizen of the month will be April 1st due to our spring break coming at the end of the month.  February good citizens don't forget your yard sign is due March 22!  I will be welcoming a student intern from ODU on March 10.  Be sure to ask your student about her.  Her name is Alexandria Sorrentino.  As always, if you have any concerns or questions please call - 648-4172.
