Charmian graduated from Clare College, Cambridge in 2005, where she read Classics. Since graduating, Charmian has taken part in ‘The Knack’, a part time performance arts course at English National Opera directed by Mary King.  She has enjoyed coaching and master classes from Graham Johnson, Robert Tear, Anthony Rolfe-Johnson and Nancy Argenta and currently studies with Alison Wells. Charmian gained a distinction on the advanced postgraduate course at Trinity College of Music, where she held a scholarship, in 2008.
